Motorcyclist dies in hospital after crash near Sydney Harbour Tunnel, NSW

A motorcyclist has died in hospital after being found seriously injured near the northern entrance to the Sydney Harbour Tunnel at the weekend.

Just after 3.15pm on Saturday (21 November 2020), emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of the Warringah Freeway, and found a motorcyclist suffering multiple injuries.

NSW Ambulance paramedics attended the scene and transported the rider, a 28-year-old man, to Royal North Shore Hospital, where he died yesterday (Monday 23 November 2020).

The driver of a Ford Ranger utility, a 49-year-old man was charged on Sunday (22 November 2020), and remains before the courts.

Investigations by the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit continue.
