Following community feedback of last year’s mowing performance, we have conducted a thorough review of our mowing services model and have committed to providing an improved service to our community.
In line with this commitment, we are pleased to share that we have awarded seven new mowing contracts to help maintain our parks and open spaces.
This contract expansion will help us deliver a more effective mowing service for our community and address the backlog of grass growth through the spring months.
The new contractors will commence their mowing services on Monday 13 November 2023.
During the transition to our new service model, we will make every effort to address long grass at existing sites.
Our maintenance team appreciates your patience and are working hard to achieve a consistent service for the community.
