Multicultural Community Grants program

Important Update – Multicultural Community Grant applications extended

Due to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, the Multicultural Community Grants application closing date has been extended until further notice. Once an application closing date has been confirmed, we will update this page accordingly.

Please continue to submit your applications to us. On receipt of your application, we will contact applicants directly to discuss your event idea and inform you of when it is safe and appropriate to hold a community event.

What?

Cancer Council WA is offering grants of up to $200 to host a community event – when it is once again safe to do so – that helps people learn about bowel cancer screening.

Why?

  • Bowel cancer is the second biggest cancer killer in Australia.
  • Screening is the best way of finding this cancer early.
  • We need more people to do the screening test, to help save more lives.
  • It is important to do the screening test when it arrives in your mailbox.

Who?

Multicultural community groups in Perth with a large number of members aged around 50 to 74 years.

How?

Applications remain open until further notice.
