Multiple burglary and unlawful use of a motor vehicle offences in North Brisbane, QLD

A boy has been charged following a number of burglary and stolen vehicle offences in North Brisbane over the past two days.

A number of houses were broken into on the afternoon of December 28 in Bardon, Ashgrove and Wooloowin and a quantity of property was stolen, as well as a vehicle.

The vehicle which was allegedly stolen from Wooloowin was then involved in a traffic crash at Gympie Road at Strathpine yesterday afternoon around 5pm.

It will be further alleged a group of juveniles then fled the scene of the crash and the dog squad tracked the group who were located by police nearby and were taken into custody.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with six counts of burglary, one count of receiving tainted property and four counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.
