Multiple cars stolen at Marcoola, QLD

Police are urging the public to be on the lookout for five vehicles stolen when thieves broke into a rental car business on the Sunshine Coast this week.

Sometime between 7.45pm on Monday May 20 and 6.00am Tuesday May 21, unknown people forced entry into the premises located on Friendship Avenue at Marcoola.

The thieves then broke into an office and stole multiple sets of car keys from a safe.

After breaking a gate at the business they escaped in five rental vehicles, two 2017 blue Audi Q7s (with Qld registration 050XQJ and 057XQJ), a 2017 silver Audi Q7 (058XQJ), a 2017 white Audi Q7 (059XQJ) and a 2016 red Toyota Corolla hatchback (874XFI).

One of the blue Audis was seen on the Gateway Motorway at Nudgee around 5am on May 21 while the white Audi is believed to have been travelling through Buddina at 12.45am.

Anyone who may have seen any of the vehicles (similar pictured below) or know their whereabouts is urged to come forward.
