Multiple Murrumbeena burglaries investigation

Detectives from Glen Eira Bayside Crime Investigation Unit are investigating a series of burglaries which occurred on 8 October.

Investigators have been told a male attended at a business on Murrumbeena Road between 9.45pm and 12am.

The male forced a door and stole electronic equipment, sporting memorabilia and alcohol.

It is then the male went to an office building on Murrumbeena Road and attempted to gain entry but was unsuccessful.

The male then jumped the fence into an adjoining business, where he smashed a window and entered the premises.

The male stole cash, electronic equipment, cigarettes and food items.

The man is perceived to be Caucasian and aged in his late 20’s to early 30’s.

He was seen wearing a grey hooded top, beige pants and then blue pants over the beige pants and a blue cap.

Detectives have released images of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
