A woman has been charged with murder after the death of a man in a domestic-related stabbing on the state’s south coast.
About 6.35pm (Friday 6 November 2020), emergency services were called to a unit on Shoalhaven Street, Nowra, following reports of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers attached to South Coast Police District found a 27-year-old man suffering a stab wound to his chest and performed CPR until the arrival of NSW Ambulance paramedics.
The man was airlifted to St George Hospital, where he later died.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Nowra Police Station.
She has been charged with murder (DV) and refused bail to appear at Wollongong Local Court today (Saturday 7 November 2020).
