Murray River Council, together with supporting partners, is inviting businesses from across the region to take part in Murray Business Month this October.
This month-long initiative has brought together 11 regional, state and industry partners to deliver one of the most comprehensive and accessible business support programs ever offered across our region.
Throughout October, businesses across the Murray, Campaspe and Gannawarra region will have access to a month-long program of events, workshops, webinars, networking opportunities and practical business support designed to help them learn, connect, innovate and grow.
From start-ups and small businesses to primary producers, retailers, manufacturers, hospitality operators and professional service providers, the program offers something for businesses at every stage.
Murray River Council Mayor, Cr John Harvie said Murray Business Month was a great opportunity for local businesses to access practical support and connect with others across the region.
“Whether you are just starting out, looking to grow your business or simply want to connect with other local business owners, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved,” he said.
“This is about bringing our business community together to learn from experienced presenters, share ideas and build connections that can help strengthen our local economy.”
“We encourage businesses owners and their employees to take part in the program, register for the sessions that interest them and make the most of these free opportunities throughout October.”
The Murray Business Month program covers a diverse range of topics, including traineeships and apprenticeships, grants, marketing, branding, networking and industry support.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain practical insights, hear from experienced presenters and connect with other businesses and professionals from across the Murray region.
Murray Business Month is also celebrating the contribution local businesses make to the region through the Campaspe Murray Business Awards Gala Dinner. Winners across all award categories, including the People’s Choice Award and the prestigious Business of the Year Award, will be announced at the Gala Presentation on October 21.
