We have 2 vacancies in the Murray-Darling Basin Aboriginal Water Entitlements Program’s Advisory Group.
Positions will begin in January 2027.
This is a chance to:
- contribute to a $100 million water entitlement initiative
- strengthen First Nations leadership in water ownership and governance
- shape policies and decision-making on the Aboriginal Water Entitlements Program.
Please consider applying if you:
- have a connection to and understanding of the Murray-Darling Basin
- identify and are accepted as a Traditional Owner in the Basin and have place-based knowledge
- have knowledge of water issues in the Basin.
- have Cultural water knowledge and basic knowledge of how water is used and allocated. Including the water market, infrastructure, policy, strategy and planning of water on Country.
We will build a merit pool of suitable candidates for future opportunities.
Advisory Group member positions
Roles are only available to Traditional Owners of the Murray-Darling Basin.
