In some great news for our Murray Downs residents, we are now a step closer to delivering the new Murray Downs boat ramp.
This project has been on the cards for a little while but was delayed by the 2022 floods. But over the past month we’ve been able to kick-off with the works.
The current scope of works includes a dual lane concrete boat ramp and manoeuvring area; and associated retaining walls with a sleeper look concrete panel façade, rock scour protection and handrails.
Our contractor is currently installing the coffer dam allowing for the water to be pumped out and concrete ramp works to begin.
We anticipate these works will be completed by the end of June. We’ll keep the community posted as the project progresses.
The project is funded under the NSW Government’s Boating Now Program.
