Get set for some sweet sounds and chill vibes when young local musicians take to the street for MY FEST on Friday, 25October in Memorial Park.

Griffith will be rocking with the sounds of the Riverina’s hottest young artists plus an incredible Fire Breathing Parkour Acro performance by Xcite and DMC (Dauntless Movement Crew) in a free all-ages outdoor concert from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, 25 October 2019.

With live music, fabulous food and drinks, and a funky art market, there’s no better place to chill out and get your groove on.

MY FEST Committee Member, Ben Ceccato said, “MY FEST is all about showcasing young, local talent in a relaxed festival atmosphere. There is a huge amount of talent in the region and we have a great lineup of fantastic young vocalists and musicians from across the Riverina performing at this fun, inclusive festival. There’s a whole range of music styles but it is all fresh and funky and will have you tapping your toes and getting into the groove.”

The MY FEST local line-up includes Triple J Unearthed sensation Harry Catanzariti; hip-hop artist AKIB – returning from Melbourne with his crew; Koori rappers Dwayne Broome and Kuntry Krano ; Little Big Band Jazz ensemble and GRASSROOTS Open Mic winners – Harriet Kelly (Hillston) , Zac Spalding (Albury) and Madz (Condobolin) showing that musical talent is spread right across the Riverina. To add to the cool – video artist Jason Richardson will light up the Telecom building with his dazzling projections which will respond to the fabulous sounds emanating from the brand new stage.

The night will finish with a heart stopping, explosive fire show with incredible stunts, dance and acrobatic feats, and exhilarating pyrotechnics from hardcore parkour outfit DMC and XCITE entertainment.

There will be no need to go hungry with the Hit FM coffee van, Alaina’s kitchen, Tato Tornado and soft serve ice-cream. Free activities include the Hit FM pop-up party with donuts, giant games and giveaways, and the MY FEST chill-out chai tent. Plus art stalls and free activities.
