NAB announces new JobKeeper hotline – 1800 JOB KEEPER

NAB has expanded its support measures for businesses impacted by COVID-19, announcing a new dedicated hotline for customers to access funds ahead of the Government’s JobKeeper payments being available in May.

The new hotline for NAB customers, 1800 JOB KEEPER (1800 562 533), will provide eligible JobKeeper businesses with a faster way to access temporary financial assistance options.

“We strongly support the actions the Government is taking and our bankers are working overtime to provide assistance to the thousands of requests for help we’ve received so far,” NAB CEO Ross McEwan said.

“We’ve today launched a dedicated hotline for customers needing support with temporary JobKeeper finance and we’ll also expedite any requests we’ve already received from customers so far.

“We recognise this funding is critical to keeping businesses afloat, people in jobs, and food on the table for the many people who are doing it tough right now.

“We’re working as quickly as we can, with more than 350 people retrained to support customer facing roles so far, so we can support as many customers as we can over this hurdle.”

Customers can contact 1800 JOB KEEPER, speak directly to their banker or lodge a request for this assistance via www.nab.com.au/jobkeeper.

These measures build on a number of other initiatives NAB has launched to support customers through COVID-19 including home loan pauses, business loan deferrals, the Business Support Loan, merchant fee waivers and assistance for credit card and personal loan customers.
