Multiple Queensland Fire and Emergency Services (QFES) crews are on scene at a chemical spill located at an industrial premises on Netherton Street, Nambour. Firefighters from the QFES Scientific Branch are currently performing atmospheric testing. Nearby residents, particularly those in a north-west direction from Netherton Street are asked to close windows and doors and if suffering from a respiratory condition, keep medications close by. If residents are concerned, they are advised to call Triple Zero (000) immediately.
