National Capital Authority Welcomes New Board Members

The Albanese Government has appointed two new part-time members to the National Capital Authority Board for a period of five years.

Ms Elizabeth Dibbs has been appointed as a non-executive member, bringing significant governance experience and a distinguished legal career.

Highly experienced in governance and board leadership, Ms Dibbs currently serves as Deputy Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the ACT City Renewal Authority.

Ms Dibbs is also Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Investment Committee for the National Portrait Gallery of Australia.

Ms Dibbs also served as Partner and General Counsel for the Asia Pacific region at Pricewaterhouse Coopers.

Mr Stuart Hocking has been appointed as a non-executive member and brings impressive, deep expertise from senior executive roles across economics, finance, strategic policy and organisational management.

Recently retired, Mr Hocking previously served as Under Treasurer at ACT Treasury and currently operates a sole trader consultancy.

In addition, Mr Hocking serves as Chair of the Transport and Civil Infrastructure Board within the ACT Government.

His strong background will contribute an excellent economic and financial lens to the board.

The board includes the Chair, Chief Executive and three members, all appointed by the Governor-General on advice from the Australian Government.
