City of Mount Gambier celebrated National Volunteers Week with a morning tea for volunteers from across the organisation.
Mayor Lynette Martin said volunteers play an essential role in shaping the heart of our city.
“Today is an opportunity to extend our heartfelt thanks to each and every volunteer who contributes to life in the City of Mount Gambier,” Mayor Martin said.
“Volunteer contributions reach far beyond the tasks performed. They help create a sense of belonging, foster community spirit, and bring people together in ways that strengthen our shared future.”
Volunteering isn’t just about giving time; it’s about being part of something bigger, where learning, growth, and genuine connection take place every day. – Thank you to our City of Mount Gambier volunteers.
