Council provides many spaces for affordable active fun for all the family.
Cool off with a dip at a Council pool or head to a patrolled beach, roll into a skate park or BMX track, slide into a new playspace, cycle along a foreshore or hit a ball at one of many free to use tennis courts.
Cool off at a patrolled beach or pool
Council patrols 15 coastal beaches and one ocean pool complex being The Grant McBride Baths at The Entrance. From now until the end of the summer season (25 April 2022) our 15 patrolled beaches will have lifeguards/lifesavers working from 9am-5pm. Discover a new beach.
Take a dip in a pool at Woy Woy’s Peninsula Leisure Centre, Gosford Pool, Toukley Aquatic Centre or Wyong Pool. For more information on each facility, go to our Leisure Centres, Gyms and Pools web page.
New playspaces to explore

Free to use Tennis Courts
Council manages 30 tennis facilities across the Central Coast which are run by either Council or clubs and community groups.
The following tennis courts remain open, unlocked and free for public use:
- Saratoga and District Sport and Recreation Association
- Patonga Beach Tennis and Sports Club
- Mannering Park
- Lake Munmorah
- Kulnura Tennis Club
- Colongra, Koala Park
- Killarney Vale
- Kariong Tennis Club
- Blue Haven Tennis Courts

Roll into a skate park or BMX track
Council manages 25 skate parks and 4 BMX facilities on the Central Coast, with varying features and suited to a range of skill levels.
