NEEDLES FOUND IN CWA PARK: COUNCIL URGES RESIDENTS TO BE CAREFUL

Griffith City Council has received reports of discarded needles found in CWA Park.

Council is urging residents to stay away from any needles they might come across and to report their sightings to Council immediately.

Discarded needles pose a serious health hazard, and residents are strongly advised not to touch or handle them. Council has procedures in place for the safe disposal of needles, and residents are urged to report to Council.

Council staff will be sent to the location to collect and dispose of any needles found.

CWA Park will be closely monitored in the coming weeks to ensure that no additional needles are discarded in the area.

Council is committed to keeping parks safe and enjoyable for all residents, and asks for the community’s cooperation in ensuring that discarded needles are properly disposed of.
