- The number of criminal incidents a young person was involved in was associated with their likelihood of adult criminal justice involvement.
- Experiencing homelessness as a young person and being a victim of crime were associated with reduced adult criminal justice involvement.
- Ethnicity, contact with child protection services, contact with mental health services and contact with alcohol and other drug services were not significantly associated with adult justice system contact among the sample of incarcerated youth.
