New Chief Accessibility Advocate

Vic Department of Transport

The Victorian Government is working to ensure our transport network is inclusive and accessible for all Victorians.

That’s why we’ve appointed Tricia Malowney OAM as the new Chief Accessibility Advocate to provide expert advice to government on how we can improve accessibility across all modes of transport.

The new Chief Accessibility Advocate will support the Department of Transport’s coordinated, whole-of-transport approach to accessibility, delivering better outcomes for all Victorians living with a disability, no matter how they choose to travel.

We’re delighted to welcome Tricia to this crucial role, monitoring the implementation of the department’s plans and programs to improve access and inclusion.

Tricia will also lead collaborative partnerships to amplify the voice of people with disability and be part of the department’s decision-making process in our accessibility programs.

We look forward to working with Tricia to help us drive solutions and identify how we can make our transport network better for all Victorians.
