New grant to boost women entrepreneurs in Tasmanian agri-food industry

Centre for Social Impact

Around a crowded table in North-West Tasmania, a group of women are animatedly discussing the pros and cons of cheese packaging. Will they travel well? How can we get them into Woollies? How can our product sit proudly on the shelves?

It is one of several workshops that have recently been bolstered by a $180,000 grant from the Tasmanian government to encourage more female entrepreneurs in the agri-food industry.

The project ‘Seedlab Sisters Cradle Coast’ involves a series of upcoming Bootcamp Workshops run by Seedlab Tasmania and their partners.
