New investor guide profiles biotech companies to watch

With AusBioInvest 2022 in four weeks on in Perth, WA on 27 October, Australian investment in biotechnology will be spotlighted and the recently released Health and Biotech Investor Guide from Stockhead and The Australian, profiles ten companies presenting at Australia’s largest life sciences investment conference.

Australia’s pre-eminent life science investment event offers the opportunity for potential partners and investors, including global pharma representatives, to engage with Australia’s world-leading biotech companies as they present the latest, detailed information about their business case and technologies.

AusBiotech CEO Lorraine Chiroiu was featured in the Health and Biotech Investor Guide and she spoke about the most significant and comprehensive strategy ever developed – Biotechnology Blueprint – for the Australian biotech industry, as well as profiles for ASX-listed companies, expert analysis, and even a few tips on which ones to watch.

“Industry leaders worked on the Blueprint and more than 300 organisations actively helped shape it,” Ms Chiroiu said.

“We’ve ended up with a high-level document of what the industry wants to achieve over the next decade and it also goes right down to targeted tactics and what we need to see happen.

“The COVID-19 pandemic has catapulted the sector into the global spotlight and given it a really strong boost.”

The ten companies to watch include: Patrys Limited (ASX:PAB), Prescient Therapeutics (ASX:PTX), Dimerix Limited (ASX:DXB), INOVIQ Ltd (ASX:IIQ), Emyria (ASX:EMD), Orthocell Ltd (ASX:OCC), LBT Innovations Ltd (ASX:LBT), Microba Life Sciences (ASX:MAP), Immuron (ASX:IMC), and Argenica Therapeutics (ASX:AGN).
