New Place To Play For Lake Conjola

Arthur Jones Reserve in Lake Conjola is home to a fantastic new playground designed to support active play, creativity and social interaction.

During the school holidays, local children have been able to enjoy brand new slides, swings and climbing, with plenty of parking and seating for those in charge.

Mayor Patricia White said the bright new play equipment would be a very welcome addition for this popular park located next to the Lake Conjola Community Centre, local tennis courts and public toilets.

“This delightful neighbourhood park in Lake Conjola now offers something for all ages and will be enjoyed by families looking to keep the kids entertained,” Cr White said.

“Playgrounds like this are so important for our growing communities, giving children a safe place to play, explore and connect,” she said.

The park replacement project cost $200,000 and includes a tower unit for climbing, crawling and sliding (including turbo slide), balance beams, swings – including a strap seat, infant seat and basket seat, sensory play panel, wobbly logs suspended balance bridge and seating.
