WorkCover Queensland has introduced a consistent fee schedule for private hospital services in the treatment of patients with a workers’ compensation claim.
The new Private Hospital Services Table of Costs was published in the Queensland Government Gazette on Thursday, 28 October 2021 and will apply from 1 December 2021.
All invoicing for private hospital services delivered from 1 December 2021 onwards must be in line with the item numbers and fees listed in the new Private Hospital Services Table of Costs. Any existing Private Hospital Facility Agreements with WorkCover Queensland will cease on 30 November 2021.
