New Round Of Voucher Program Open For Business

  • Minister for Jobs, Innovation and Trade

Victorian businesses will have access to new opportunities to develop and grow with the opening of applications for the fourth round of the popular Boost Your Business Voucher Program.

The Andrews Labor Government is calling on eligible small and medium enterprises to apply for up to $50,000 through the voucher program.

Eligible streams include Advanced Manufacturing; Defence, Aerospace, Cyber and Security; Asia Gateway; Food Innovation; Victoria-Israel Innovation; and Social Enterprise Capability.

The program allows successful businesses to become more productive, improve market access, employ additional people, diversify and increase scale and profitability.

Wandin Valley Farms received funding through Boost Your Business and was able to accelerate its cherry sales to China. The voucher has resulted in multi-million-dollar export growth for the company.

Another business to have benefitted from the program is cafe and catering company STREAT, a social enterprise for homeless and disadvantaged young people that has used Boost Your Business funding to create training and employment pathways for people coming out of the justice system.

The first three rounds of vouchers provided almost $9 million for Victorian businesses, including $1.8 million allocated to support more than 70 businesses earlier this year.

Applications for the current round of the Boost Your Business Voucher Program close on 22 December.

As noted by Minister for Jobs, Innovation and Trade Martin Pakula

“We are proud to support Victorian businesses to enable them to hire more people and expand into new markets.”

“The three rounds of this program have provided funding to more than 300 businesses across the state and this round will support dozens more to innovate and grow.”
