After a thorough Expression of Interest process, the Borough of Queenscliffe is pleased to announce that Staple Eatery & Deli will take on the lease at the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve on Hesse Street (Shortlands Bluff).
The new tenant is expected to commence trading in November and will be offering award-winning coffee, delicious sandwiches, an amazing take-home meal range, and curated pantry items for our residents, community and visitors to the area.
“We’re delighted to welcome Staple Eatery & Deli to Queenscliff “Mayor Donnie Grigau said. “This is a great opportunity to activate the new look kiosk and add to the experience of everyone who visits the area.”
Staple Eatery & Deli directors Naomi Floyd & Prahlad Iyer said they were looking forward to becoming part of the local community and welcoming customers to the kiosk. As long-time supporters of vibrant neighbourhoods, they are incredibly excited to create a warm, community-minded gathering space where locals and visitors alike can connect over great food and exceptional coffee.
The new lease is a positive opportunity for everyone involved – supporting a local business, creating a welcoming place for residents and visitors, and bringing fresh energy to the upgraded kiosk and surrounding recreation reserve.
