Tasmanian Government

Cost-of-living relief, health and housing continue to be the priority for the Tasmanian Government over the next 100 days.

Premier Jeremy Rockliff said the Fifth 100 Day Plan, released today, sets out a clear pathway to keep Tasmania moving forward.

“Our Government is focused on delivering better healthcare, more homes, a stronger economy and practical cost-of-living support,” the Premier said.

“Over the next 100 days, we will begin construction of the new purpose-built Northern Mental Health Precinct at the Launceston General House and welcome the new Breastscreen Bus to Tasmania.

“We will deliver more healthcare at less cost – with the first ever Tasmanian community pharmacists able to work to their full scope of practice and deliver healthcare for 23 common health conditions

“We have built a strong and resilient economy, and in the next 100 days we will turn the first sod for Project Marinus, welcome a new era of passenger travel with the two new Spirit of Tasmania ships coming into service, and enable the redevelopment of the Boags site.

“Our Government will deliver more homes, and in the next 100 days we will introduce our nation-leading Modular Housing Finance Guarantee Bill to unlock finance for modular homes during construction, reducing barriers and getting homes built sooner.

“Our priorities are clear, our plan is focused and our commitment to Tasmanians is unwavering.

“We are building an even better Tasmania, with the next 100 days will be all about delivery.

“We are working every day to build an even better health system, deliver more housing and support Tasmanians with the cost-of-living.”
