Council would like to thank everyone who provided feedback on the draft Climate Change Action Plan: Towards 2035.
We received over 50 survey responses and over 70% of respondents said they support the draft Plan.
Input from the community is valuable and will help shape actions we take to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change.
The next steps for the Plan are to review and analyse all community feedback we received in May and June, and then present the finalised Climate Change Action Plan to Council for adoption the coming months. Together we are taking action for a more sustainable future.
