Wollongong City Council is calling for Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights residents to be part of a community visioning project that will determine priorities that are important to residents and will be used to guide the future of their suburbs.
This is phase two of the Kembla Community Vision Project after we asked the community how they’d like to be involved in the project earlier this year.
Residents can share ideas online on the Our Wollongong website. Council will also run face-to-face information stands and community workshops. At these, we’re asking community members to share what they value about living in Mount Kembla and Kembla Heights and what they want to see happen in the area in the future.
The information stands will be held:
- Saturday 24 June, 2-4pm at Mount Kembla Memorial Pathway (near the Memorial)
- Wednesday 28 June, 4-6pm at Kembla Heights Community Hall.
