Deputy Mayor Karen Egan said Nillumbik’s exceptional volunteers deserve acknowledgement and celebration.

“Nominees and recipients of community awards often say what an honour it is to have their efforts recognised,” Cr Egan said.

“If you know someone who gives selflessly for the good of the community – whether it be through a group, club or other organisation, or on an individual level – please take the time to nominate them.”

Nominations close Sunday 10 May.

The award recipients will be announced at a celebration event on Thursday 22 August at the Eltham Community Reception Centre.
