Nominations are closing this month for the 2020 Best Bites People’s Choice Awards!
To nominate, simply tell us in 25 words or less how your nominated food business delivers Best Bites excellence across either:
- food safety
- healthy eating
- sustainability
- reduction of tobacco/alcohol
- access for all
- or all of the above!
Businesses must be featured in the 2020 Best Bites Food Guide to be nominated.
The Guide lists local food businesses that have received a Best Bites certification. These businesses have scored over 95% in their food safety assessment and are providing excellent allergen management for customers.
The Best Bites Food Guide is now available for free from Shire customer service centres, local food businesses, visitor information centres, libraries and online at mornpen.vic.gov.au/bestbites.
Mornington Peninsula Shire Mayor Councillor Sam Hearn said “this is a great opportunity for community members to champion their favourite local businesses and provide them with some well deserved recognition, whether they’re a hidden gem or a well-known name”.
HOW TO NOMINATE
You can nominate a business by completing the online form at mornpen.vic.gov.au/bestbites.
Alternatively, you can nominate them via our Instagram and Facebook through direct messages or tagging your favourite business in one of our People’s Choice Awards posts.
Nominations close 31 January 2020.
