The City of Swan encourages residents to celebrate and acknowledge the local champions in your community!
If you know someone who has made a real difference or contribution in areas such as education, health, business, sports or the environment – nominate them for a 2021 Community Citizen of the Year Award.
Awards categories include:
- Citizen of the Year
- Citizen of the Year – Youth (under 25 years)
- Citizen of the Year – Senior (over 65 years)
- Award for Active Citizenship (community group or event)
Nominations should be based on an individual (or group) who has:
- made a significant contribution to the local community
- demonstrated leadership on a community issue resulting in enhanced community life
- implemented a positive change in the community or someone who is an inspiring role model to the community.
All nominees should either work or live within the City of Swan.
The City is proud to support and participate in the award program run by Auspire – Australia Day Council.
Winners will be announced on Australia Day at a special presentation as part of the City’s Australia Day celebrations. Nominations close October 31, 2020.
