The awards recognise the region’s proud, strong and diverse sporting culture and celebrate the outstanding achievements of individuals, clubs and associations in our community.
The event will be at 6pm on Friday 25 November, 2022 at West’s Leagues Club. Nominations are now open for the 10 awards on offer across a range of individual and group categories.
Council’s Sport & Recreation Development Officer, Blake Mammarella said this past year has provided players, coaches and teams the opportunity to return to sports after COVID affected years.
“It has been really refreshing to see players, coaches and teams return to the sporting arena and show what the region has to offer after a difficult couple of COVID affected years. Now is the time to celebrate and recognise the outstanding achievements of sporting stars across the region. If you know someone or a team who has excelled in the sporting arena this year, make sure you nominate them for an award.”

The performance qualifying period for the awards is from 1 November 2021 to 4 October, 2022.
