Non-English speaking elderly man missing from Central Station – Sydney

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from Sydney.

Ying Yui Cheng, aged 93, was last seen at Central Train Station about 3pm today (Wednesday 19 April 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.

Family and police hold concerns for his welfare due to Ying’s age and language barrier.

Ying is described as being of Asian appearance, about 165cm tall, of thin build and with grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a long-sleeve grey top, khaki vest, dark pants and grey and red sneakers.

Anyone with information about Ying’s whereabouts is urged to contact Triple Zero (000) or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
