Detectives from Geelong Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following a fire at a Bellbird Avenue home in Norlane on 17 August.
It is alleged the 29-year-old Norlane man set the house alight just before 11am.
The charges come after a search warrant was executed at a Bellbird Avenue Norlane address yesterday.
The man has been charged with arson, reckless conduct endangering serious injury and burglary in relation to this incident.
He has been remanded to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court today.
