The Coveted Closets Wardrobe Sale at Brighton Town Hall is just one of the Garage Sale Trail events on the weekend of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October. The Mayor, Councillor Michael Heffernan joined the Fashion Advocate, Claire Goldsworthy (pictured left) and Ellen Walker for this photo outside the Brighton Town Hall and said:
“Coveted Closets is one of the many events being held across Bayside where bargain hunters can shop sustainably and reduce the amount of new products being made and waste going to landfill.
“I encourage Bayside residents to either host a sale themselves, shop the Garage Sale Trail and join 400,000 Australians putting second-hand first by bargain hunting, re-using, recycling and making a difference.”
