The details of the proposed Licence
Willoughby City Council proposes to grant a licence in respect of:
- part of a site being community land and known as The Willis Recreation and Sports Centre (located on Lot 28 DP 1130491 at 325A Eastern Valley Way, Middle Cove); and
- part of Cleland Park Reserve (R42986) known as the Cleland Park Tennis Courts, being a Crown Reserve managed as community land (located on Lot 7307 in DP 1143035 in Barton Road, Artarmon)
Land subject of proposed Licence
The area of the Willis outlined in red on the attached Figure A including the tennis courts numbered 1 -13, the futsal courts numbered 14 -15 and the café and associated buildings
The area of Cleland Park outlined in red on the attached Figure B including the tennis courts and associated buildings.
Purpose of Licence
To permit the operation and management of the tennis courts and associated activities so as to continue the use of the tennis courts for the playing of tennis and complementary sports, and for other recreational activities
Proposed Licensee
Sydney Sports Management Group and Voyager Tennis Pty Limited (ACN 652 024 032)
Term of the proposed Licence
Initial period of 10 years with an additional 2 x 5 year options (such options exercisable by the Council in its absolute discretion)
