NSW Fair Trading issues public warning about Robot My Life

NSW Fair Trading has issued a public warning about Robot My Life (also operating as MoeBot and PoolBot).

Robot My Life sold home robotic products such as robot vacuums, mops and pool vacuum cleaners and robot lawn mowers via the websites robotmylife.com.au, moebot.com.au and poolbot.com.au. These websites are currently deactivated.

Since 1 November 2025, NSW Fair Trading has received 102 consumer complaints about Robot my Life with reports of:

  • False or misleading representations about the quality, composition, style or model of the goods.
  • Delays in supply, which may be in part result of the sale of goods not in stock at the time of order.
  • Goods paid for partially supplied and/or not supplied to consumers within a reasonable time.
  • Failure to provide refunds for goods that were not supplied.
  • Failure to provide replacements or refunds for faulty goods
  • Extensive delays in responding to customer enquiries and warranty claims, in some cases, extending for several months.
  • Consumers reporting that telephone calls are directed to an automated system without any follow-up.

The complaints sent to NSW Fair Trading relate to $90,145 worth of goods. As a result of the NSW Fair Trading investigation, consumers have since been compensated for their orders.
