NSW police appeal after armed robbery at San Remo

Police are appealing for public assistance after an armed robbery on the state’s Central Coast earlier this month.

Shortly after 5.30am on Saturday 3 August 2019, two men with their faces covered entered a shop on Liamena Avenue, San Remo.

It is alleged a female employee was threatened with a firearm and demands for cash and cigarettes were made. The pair fled the scene through a nearby park.

Police from Tuggerah Lakes Police District attended a short time later and established a crime scene.

One man has already been charged in relation to this matter and is before the courts.

As investigations continue, police have released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries.

He’s described as being between 175-180cm tall, with a slim build and bushy eyebrows, wearing a black hooded jumper, black trackpants, with a white scarf covering his face and a black ‘Nike’ sports bag.
