NSW police appeal after man found with serious injuries

Police are appealing for the public’s help after a man was found with a serious head injury in Warwick Farm.

About 8.40pm (Wednesday 5 February 2020), police attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command were called to the northern side of the pedestrian crossing at the Hume Highway and Macquarie Street, Warwick Farm following reports a man was lying injured at the location.

The man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital.

Further medical checks revealed the 42-year-old man had suffered a severe injury to his head and he underwent emergency surgery.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time or have dashcam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
