NSW police appeal for information into suspicious death at Lake Illawarra

Police are re-appealing for information as they continue to investigate the suspicious death of a man in the Lake Illawarra region earlier this year.

About 9.30pm on Monday 23 August 2021, emergency services were called to Thomas Street, Lake Illawarra, following reports the body of a man had been found inside a home.

The man has since been formally identified as 31-year-old Matthew Davis.

Officers from Lake Illawarra Police District established Strike Force Sienna to investigate the circumstances surrounding his death.

As part of the investigation, detectives are appealing to anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in Thomas Street and surrounds on the night of Monday 23 August.
