NSW police appeal to locate man missing from Ryde

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s north west.

James Dang, aged 36, was last seen leaving his home on Salerwong Place, Ryde, about 2pm on Wednesday 25 January 2023.

He was reported missing to officers from Ryde Police Area Command on Thursday 26 January 2022 when he did not return home and family could not contact him.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

James is described as being of Asian appearance, of medium build with short black hair and brown eyes.

It is believed he was last wearing a white, red and green chequered long sleeve polo shirt, long black pants and black shoes.

It is believed he may be in the Manly area and surrounds, as his vehicle was located in North Head yesterday (Friday 27 January 2023).

Anyone who may have seen James or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Ryde or Manly Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
