A man has died after his car left the road and hit a house on the Central Coast.
The single-vehicle crash happened shortly after 7pm (Saturday 5 March 2022), at the intersection of Old Gosford Road and Ghersi Avenue, Wamberal.
The driver died at the scene. He is yet to be formally identified but is believed to be aged 68.
The house and several nearby homes were evacuated after a gas line was ruptured.
Officers from Brisbane Water Police District established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the cause of the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
