Police are at the scene of a fatal crash in the state’s central-west.
Just after 6pm (Monday 20 January 2020), emergency services were called to Guntawang Road, Galambine, north of Mudgee, after reports a 4WD and a small truck had collided.
NSW Ambulance paramedics attended; however, a female passenger in the 4WD died at the scene.
A male driver and a second female passenger were treated and taken to hospital with minor injuries.
The truck driver was uninjured and has been taken to Gulgong Hospital for mandatory testing.
A crime scene has been established and will be forensically examined with the assistance of the Bathurst Crash Investigation Unit.
Guntawand Road remains closed between the Castlereagh Highway and Goolma Road and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash and are appealing for any witnesses or any motorists who were in the area at the time and may have dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
