NSW police arrest man after double stabbing

A man has been arrested following a double stabbing in Sydney’s south-west.

About 10.45am today (Saturday 27 November 2021), emergency services attended a unit complex on the Hume Highway at Warwick Farm, following reports a 30-year-old woman and 43-year-old man had been stabbed by another man.

The injured man and woman were both treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics at the scene for stab wounds to the face.

They were both taken to Liverpool Hospital for further treatment, where the woman remains in a serious condition, and the man remains in a stable condition.

Officers attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which will be examined by specialist forensic police.

A short time later, a 27-year-old man was arrested at Lachlan Lane, Warwick Farm.

He was treated for a broken nose and also taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard.

Investigations are continuing into the incident.
