A man has been arrested after another man was stabbed at a home in Eden yesterday.
About 7pm (Monday 3 August 2020), a group of people were at a home Hopkins Street, Eden, when an argument commenced between a man, aged 64, and his stepson, aged 35.
The argument escalated resulting in the older man suffering a stab wound to his stomach. He was taken by ambulance to South East Regional Hospital Bega, before being flown to a hospital in Canberra. His condition is listed as critical but stable.
The younger man was arrested at the home and taken to Eden Police Station where he is currently assisting with inquiries.
