NSW police arrest man after string of burglaries at Liverpool

A man has been arrested and charged for multiple break, enter and steals in Sydney’s south-west.

About 10.40am (Wednesday 4 December 2019), detectives attached to Liverpool City Police Area Command attended an apartment complex on Shepherd Street, Liverpool.

Police were investigating burglaries that had taken place at the location and arrested a 45-year-old man who presides there.

A search warrant was executed at his unit where multiple items reported stolen were recovered.

Police will allege that the man was involved in a number of break and enters on Monday (2 December 2019) and Tuesday (3 December 2019).

He was taken to Liverpool Police Station and charged with four counts of break, enter and steal, malicious damage and goods in custody on premises.

He was refused bail to appear at Liverpool Local Court tomorrow (Thursday 5 December 2019).
