NSW police arrest three people after fail-to-stop crash at Parramatta

Three people are assisting police with inquiries after four pedestrians were injured after a fail-to-stop crash at Parramatta tonight.

Shortly before 9pm (Monday 28 December 2020), two men and two women were crossing at the intersection of Marsden Street and Argyle Street, near Westfield’s, when they were hit by a Ford Focus.

The Ford stopped and two men and a woman got out to assist the injured pedestrians, however, the two men got back into the vehicle and drove away.

All pedestrians suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Westmead Hospital for treatment.

Investigations commenced by officers from Parramatta Police Area Command resulting in the arrest of three people including the 22-year-old woman who assisted at the scene, and two men aged 21 and 23.

All three were arrested in Marsden Street, not far from the scene.

The vehicle was located nearby and has been seized for examination.
