NSW police arrest woman after man stabbed

A woman has been arrested after a man was stabbed in Sydney’s east overnight.

About 1.40am today (Saturday 21 November 2020), emergency services were called to a home at Drumalbyn Road, Bellevue Hill, following reports a man had been stabbed.

A 22-year-old man was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a serious condition.

Officers from Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A 55-year-old woman, who is known to the man, was arrested at the scene and taken to Waverley Police Station.

Investigations are continuing.
