NSW police assist in JACET arrest, South Australia

On Monday 10 January, Detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team (SA JACET) a partnership between SAPOL’s Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police arrested a man for a number of alleged child sex offences.

The 25-year-old Western Suburbs man has been charged with make child amenable to sexual activity, procuring a child to commit an indecent act and “Carly’s Law” dishonest communication with a child. Bail was refused and the man will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 11 January.

This investigation was a result of a referral from the NSW Police and further demonstrates the commitment of all police jurisdictions across Australia to collaborate and protect children on line who are subjected to this form of offending.
