NSW police charge 24th person amid Strike Force Radius investigation at Tamworth

A woman has been charged as investigations into the supply of prohibited drugs in the state’s New England region continues.

In August 2018, detectives from Oxley Police District established Strike Force Radius, with assistance from the Target Action Group and Crime Management Unit, to investigate the supply of illicit drugs and firearms in Tamworth.

To date, 24 people have been charged relating to Strike Force Radius.

Following inquiries, detectives arrested a 53-year-old woman at a home on Nobillia Avenue at Tamworth, about 10am today (Friday 30 August 2019).

She was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with supply prohibited drug.

She was granted conditional bail to appear at Tamworth Local Court Monday 16 September 2019.
